Spent today exploring this beautiful part of NSW. First stop was Pambula - home of the first Medal winner of this year’s Winter Olympics : Cooper Woods. Didn’t see a lot of snow around. Then it was onto Eden and a visit to the The

Eden Killer Whale Museum Which isa major maritime museum primarily known for housing the skeleton of Old Tom, a legendary orca who led a pod that assisted local whalers in Twofold Bay for decades. Established in 1931, the museum showcases over 10,000 artifacts related to whaling, local maritime history, the timber industry, and fishing. It was well worth the visit. Back to Tathra for a quick 17000 step walk on the beach, followed by a swim and a fantastic dinner at the Tathra Pub. Tomorrow we leave for Paynesville via Mallacoota and a visit to the original Twofold bay whaling station remnants.
