The lost shoe capital of Europe

Arrived in Flensburg this arvo (which is Germany's most northern city). Couldn't help but notice that there were a lot of shoe shops. It wasn't till I got into the old town and realised why!! The pics below tell the story!! Alice F - Let me know if you would like a good pair of boots?? The town is on a nice harbour, on the Balkan sea and it's packed with tourists. But the real highlight of this place was my dinner: Fresh white asparagus with potatoes, tons of ham, hollandaise sauce and a bowl of melted butter washed down with a pilsener from the brewery in the kitchen!! Wonderbah! Just don't tell my heart doctor.
