Travel days before the Amazon Jungle

We left the ship yesterday after the most amazing day swimming with the orcas. After being kicked off the ship at 8am, we had a stack of time to fill before we could check into our hotel on Santa Cruz. So a long walk around town checking out some more dodgy Charles Darwin statues as well as an interesting tuna fish market. It was there a local seal, iguana and pelican waited for some scraps! Today was all about travel after my plane back to Quito was delayed by 4+ hours because the President of Ecuador had to land at Quito airport. It normally takes 45 minutes to get to downtown Quito but today took forever due to the traffic. So today was pretty much a transit day. Hopefully tomorrow I can explore the town.
