Old Tom and the NSW South Coast
Spent today exploring this beautiful part of NSW. First stop was Pambula - home of the first Medal winner of this year’s Winter Olympics : Cooper Woods. Didn’t see a lot of snow around. It's a road trip.....
Back on the road again, for a road trip through Victoria and onto Tasmania. First stop is Tathra, which will be our base while we explore Eden and the South Coast. On the way to Tathra we took a small detour to visit the Moruya gray granite mine. This was the stone selected by my great grandfather Malcolm Morrison (NSW Government Geologist) for the pylons of the Sydney Harbour Bridge (as well as the columns for the GPO and the Martin Place Cenotaph).
